PURPOSE OF JOB:

Our client is one of the largest suppliers to UK retailers of specialist food products. They are looking to strengthen their Production Team with a focused and driven Production Shift Manager.

Reporting into the Production Manager, your remit will be to run the Production Operations with your team to ensure the achievement of output targets of the business in terms of the health, safety and welfare of the company's staff, quality quantity and cost, whilst also maintaining the hygiene and GMP standards of the factory.

EXPERIENCE:

As the ideal candidate you will already have Production Shift Manager Experience within the Food Manufacturing sector. You must have the passion and enthusiasm to drive Continuous Improvement process to achieve better cost effectiveness, productivity, quality and hygiene whilst developing your team to perform and grow in their roles.

You will be forward thinking in your outlook and yet be prepared to lead from the front when required. The role would appeal to you if you have previous experience in Production Management and you want to move into a new role with a company offering progression opportunities.
