This role is working for a privately-owned company whose history spans almost 70 years and reaches across the globe. You will ensure products manufactured are safe, legal and comply to customer's quality standards and in addition ensure all food safety monitoring equipment are well maintained and calibrated to comply with legal and customer standard requirements. Working with the production team to establish and maintain procedures and standards, you will also complete regular quality reports, conduct internal audits, including auditing products to ensure adherence to specification, swabs, micros, water tests, GMP audits, lockers, glass and plastic audits.
With experience in food manufacturing, you should also possess Level 3 in food hygiene, Level 2/3 in HACCP, EMP and QMS knowledge and BRC food manufacturing awareness. You should be well versed in complaint handling, be internal audit trained and ideally have bakery process knowledge.
The Quality Technician role is based in the South Coast region and is paying £27,000 plus a £3,000 shift allowance and great benefits. You will work a 2-week rotating shift pattern; 6am-2pm/2pm – 10pm Monday to Friday and 10pm-6am Sunday to Thursday.
