Demand Planning Manager, London
Have you now planned a career move? Now is the time to get on board with this great company.
Are you a tortoise or a hare?
My client believes that slow and simple wins the race but behind their success, the pace is fast and furious. From a standing start, in just 5 years', their growth has been phenomenal - 2m units in the first year, heading towards 20m units next year.
Producing proper puddings from the freshest ingredients to consistently high standards has seen the customer base soar to new heights. They supply some of the most demanding UK retailers, have expanded across Europe and the US and are now on board airlines too.
Success and further growth plans mean they're about to move to a new production site, which opens up even more opportunity.
A key part of their expansion means the move from Excel spreadsheets over to the SAP Business One system and as Customer Demand Manager you'll be intrinsic in managing that transition.
You'll need a background in food manufacturing or similar FMCG environment to create collaborative forecasting with key customers and to build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. As the key driver for production planning and scheduling you'll be supported by a Supply Planner and Logistics Planner to deliver optimum results every time.
You'll thrive in this role if you have an entrepreneurial flair and can adapt to changing priorities without losing focus and accuracy. If you are used to a structured environment with rigid processes and procedures this won't be for you.
Above all, you would be part of a business that is going places; this presents the perfect opportunity to play a key part and influence the changing structure of their supply and demand processes.
Roles like this don't hang around for long and neither should you - send your CV today or call me to find out more.
