This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing company, based in modern facilities, to support their customer base across the UK. The business develops and markets cost effective and safe solutions that deliver improved hygiene and better productivity in food production and processing.
You will work across the whole business to ensure they engage with the right vendors that can assist the company in scaling rapidly to meet the demands of the customer base.
You will develop and implement supply chain processes and procedures, assist in selection of suitable vendors, carry out periodic reviews of vendor performance, ensure the provision of accurate forecasts, assist in the design and implementation of stock management and warehouse strategies plus liaise with the planning function to forecast demand and ensure the availability of appropriate materials and products.
The successful applicant will have a solid track record of implementing procurement & supply chain processes whilst onboarding high-quality & experienced suppliers within a technical/engineering environment. You will have a good understanding of H&S requirements and a formal procurement or supply chain qualification (e.g. CIPS) preferred but not essential. To be successful you will thrive and strengthen the culture of openness where everyone is encouraged to help their colleagues contribute to the business success.
The Supply Chain Manager job is based in the South Central / Home Counties region and is paying £50,000 - £55,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus bonus scheme, pension, 25 days annual leave and excellent learning and development opportunities.
