Area Manager (Nights)
A leading a FMCG Food manufacturer seeking to recruit a Night Area Manager to join their operations team.
Your role as Area Manager is to own and drive delivery of operational KPIs through effective people engagement and to effectively manage all aspects of the production area to ensure optimum operational performance.
You will also ensure the company meets health, safety, environmental and quality obligations both in compliance with legislation and to company standards plus identify, own and project manage process improvements and capital initiatives through to completion.
This role is a full-time, working 48 hours per week, 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Working hours will be 18:00 to 06:00.
Excellent literacy & numerical skills, ability to communicate in writing and for reporting purposes.
Analytical – ability to pull actionable insight from data
Prior experience of leading a team and resource planning in a people intensive, manufacturing/ FMCG environment
Experience of managing large numbers of people in complex manufacturing environment
Advanced Food Hygiene Accreditation - Desirable
HACCAP Level 3 Qualification - Desirable
Level 3 Health & Safety – IOSH - Desirable
Sigma Six Green Belt Trained - Desirable
