Role - Production Planner
Salary - £23,000- £27,000
Location - Cornwall

You will have a logical mind, experience in production planning and eager to join a very successful food manufacturer in order to ensure that products are manufactured on time and therefore customers orders and expectations are met.
With their innovative and developing business, this factory based in the Cornwall/ Devon area has had a lot of success over the years in terms of customer base and are currently undergoing lots of positive change in terms of restructuring the team in order to become an even stronger business. The products produced are high quality and high demand and therefore require a skilled and experienced planner to help support the production team. You will be ensuring continued success for the business as a whole, producing consistent results in lowering stock write offs and keeping the flow of production all while leaving minimal room for error.
Are you the next member of the planning team?
The Production Planner will:
*Maintain internal systems and monitor stock levels and wastage.
*Manage the production and forecast plans
*Plan for packaging and raw material usage
*Work with internal teams to ensure success
*Contribute to project and forecast meetings.
*Build effective relationships with team.
The successful candidate will have experience in the food or drinks industry and in a relevant role such as a production planner, materials planner, materials controller or similar supply chain focused role.
It will also be advantageous, but not essential, to have experience working with major UK retailers or foodservice customers. You will also need to have a confident but calm approach to tasks and bring a positive energy to the workplace.
This role will be commutable from places in many places in Devon and Cornwall such as Plymouth, Okehampton, Launceston, Bodmin and St Austell.
