A fantastic company that deal with the major retailers in the chilled sector are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and forward thinking individual to join them as a QA Manager to develop their career and passion for the industry within their quality team on a shift basis.

The company are looking for a personality that will ensure that all procedures are being followed, audits are supported and bring their knowledge and understanding to the team to help develop the quality teams and work alongside them. The role will involve developing the QA team, looking at elements with a new pair of eyes and bringing in new and relevant ideas, involving KPI's to motivate and progress the quality team.

You will have responsibility for advising on all technical aspects of factory production and its environment, ensuring that all products meet customer and legal requirements, particularly food safety - driving continuous improvement at all times.

The perfect candidate for this role will be passionate about their position and eager to progress their career as well as supporting any company they plan to work with. With the ability to work well within a team, you must be hungry to achieve the best standards and ensure that the team achieves the highest standards at all times.

A 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline, training skills, advanced diploma in Applied HACCP Principles, advanced food hygiene and internal auditing would all be hugely desirable assets to have for this role.

Do you fit the following criteria?

- Good level of education
- Experience in similar FMCG food industry including auditing experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- Team leadership qualities and personal development skills.
- Initiative, self-motivated, well organised and assertive
- Logical approach, excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
- Report writing and procedural writing skills.

We are looking for someone who is a self-motivator and has influencing skills.
