The company

We are seeking a talented individual to work for a leading independent manufacturer of specialist products. The company can offer bespoke chilled or frozen products which are supplied into the manufacturing, service and retail sectors.

The job

As Goods In Operative, you will receive and check all incoming goods into the business.

Your specific tasks include receiving and putting away all goods to the correct levels as required ensuring correct quality, quantity and temperature, ensure stock control and stock rotation at all times, chase up deliveries and supplies in the event of non-delivery and accurately complete all food safety and legally required paperwork as required.

Your experience

To be considered for the role, you will have experience from a goods-in, packing or warehousing environment most preferably in the food manufacturing / FMCG industry. You will be dedicated, have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have good organisational skills. Any related qualifications such as Food Hygiene or Food Safety would be an advantage.

The Production Supervisor job is based in the Bedfordshire region and is paying c. £17,500 to £18,500 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are 2pm – 10.30pm.
