Product Quality Expert - Citrus
We’ve got a fantastic job for a Product Quality Expert (Citrus) to join our Gadbrook manufacturing site, reporting to the Site Technical Manager. In this job you’ll manage raw material stock and ensure it’s used in an appropriate manner to deliver best quality to our customers.
This job is for a FTC for 12 months and is working 48 hours per week on a days shift.
Requirements of the Job
The ideal Product Expert (Citrus) will have a Quality or Technical background. Typically the role involves supporting production colleagues packing product, providing the Buyer and Technologist with detailed insight on quality of raw materials, influencing stock volumes and usage, flagging potential issues, supporting the interpretation of specifications and contributing to category reviews.

You’ll have a passion for ensuring customers experience great quality products everytime with an ability to influence others and to champion product quality decisions. You will have good stakeholder management & communication skills and ideally be experienced in working in the Fresh Produce / Horticulture industry. You’ll have a good working knowledge of quality systems and have the ability to review supplier capability and implement approval plans as required.

Gadbrook Manufacturing is a purpose built dual facility able to process both fruit and vegetables under the one roof. We produce over 120 million pack of fruit per year, 75,000 tonnes of root vegetable 12,000 tonnes of carrots per year. We run a 2 shift operation and employ over 500 colleagues. The site has recently undergone a £15million investment to improve the washing and grading machinery at the site.
