We are working with a very reputable and well renowned business, who are looking for a bright Commercial Manager or National Account Manager to join their thriving Commercial team. This business is growing due to the popularity of its produce and continuing to gain momentum year-on-year building long lasting relationships with retailers.
You will be picking up and managing an active portfolio of accounts which have significant value to the business. This will involve looking after the day-to-day management to ensure these accounts are grown in line with the business' aspirations. The business has a selection of short, medium and long-term strategic goals that you will hopefully buy into and really embody in your day-to-day management style.
You will also be given the freedom to develop or bring in your own opportunities with the business' products, providing new avenues to explore. The business is looking to actively encourage enthusiasm in this role and looking for a great addition to this team who will embody values and take the business forward as well as their career.
The Successful Candidate:
To be successful in this role you would have the following:
A really great account management or commercial manager background with ideally some examples of you taking on new ideas off your own back and making them work.
A background in a relevant industry, whether that is fresh produce, fruit or fast moving consumer goods.
Excellent communication skills that enable you to work well with customers, clients and suppliers all at a high level.
Brilliant Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) skills, alongside a confident ability to negotiate and a very flexible method of working.
