Job Title: Quality Systems Co-Ordinator
Date: November 2018
Reports to: Technical Manager
Overview of Role:
Working as part of a small quality and technical team
Responsible for maintaining and improving the Company’s Quality Management and Food Safety Systems
Working closely with colleagues to identify opportunities for quality improvement
Identifying and implementing corrective and preventative actions and ensuring products are fully compliant with company, customer and regulatory requirements.
Ensuring high quality safe products are manufactured
Flexible attitude to work
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Control documentation of Quality Management System
- Control documentation of Food Safety System
- Conduct internal audits of QMS, FSS & GMP
- Maintaining performance targets Key Performance Indicators, Short Interval Controls and other industry standards as applicable including SALSA and HACCP to maintain and improve quality and food safety standards.
- Ensure Lean manufacture principles are in place
- Mentor and train team members to ensure a high performing team is working efficiently and professionally
- Continually improve the quality culture
- Ensuring awareness and adherence to company quality and regulatory policies and procedures is adhered to
Qualities and Skills required:
- Experience of maintaining a QMS and Food Safety System
- HACCP experience (Level 3 preferable)
- BRC / SALSA auditor certification
- Confident It and presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership

- Development of others
