The organisation
A leading SME in the food manufacturing arena seeking to recruit a Logistics Manager to join there expanding team.
The Role
To ensure customer orders are delivered on time, in full and in a cost effective manner, whilst providing good customer service.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the end to end delivery service
- Manage remote based depots
- Support and manage the delivery team
- Haulage and carrier contract management
- Accident investigation
- Project and CI management
The Candidate
- Experience in a fast paced FMCG manufacturing arena
- Previous experience in a Logistics Manager or Logistics Co-ordinator position
- The ideal candidate will have a great financial awareness to help drive down costs and will need to be of an analytical mind-set.
- Excellent customer service skills are also required to build and develop relationships with customers and suppliers.
