Our client is a family owned business based in Southern England, which supplies a portfolio of value-added foods to a range of clients across the retail and food service sectors. Due to internal moves, the business seeks to appoint a capable technical professional to head up their department.
With responsibility for the full technical remit, the role will lead the technical / quality teams, and be a first point of contact for all customers in relation to technical and product related issues. The Technical Manager will be the company vanguard for product excellent, quality and safety.
- Full responsibility for the company technical objective Leadership and development of a dedicated and ambitious technical team Ownership of company responsibility to food safety and due diligence Main point of contact on points of product and technical interest to all customers
- Previous experience in a technical / quality leadership role Highly proficient with retailer standards and auditing body standards Experienced with food processing and manufacture Food science Degree / HND qualified or equivalent
