Technical Manager

Our client is a family owned business based in Southern England, which supplies a portfolio of value-added foods to a range of clients across the retail and food service sectors. Due to internal moves, the business seeks to appoint a capable technical professional to head up their department.

Technical Manager

With responsibility for the full technical remit, the role will lead the technical / quality teams, and be a first point of contact for all customers in relation to technical and product related issues. The Technical Manager will be the company vanguard for product excellent, quality and safety.

Key Accountabilities

• Full responsibility for the company technical objective Leadership and development of a dedicated and ambitious technical team Ownership of company responsibility to food safety and due diligence Main point of contact on points of product and technical interest to all customers

Critical Attributes

• Previous experience in a technical / quality leadership role Highly proficient with retailer standards and auditing body standards Experienced with food processing and manufacture Food science Degree / HND qualified or equivalent
