As an Engineer, you fix things. Can you fix this department?
This is an interesting one. A conundrum.
You will be joining a site that is doing well, has relationships with its major customers that "are as good as they have ever been", good engagement scores across the factory. All in all, it's a rosy picture with things looking good in a business that can offer you stability and security as well as future career opportunities.
And yet...
That's not quite the case in this Engineering function. Nothing is catastrophic, but not at the high standards this site sets itself.
The underlying root cause of this has been identified which I can explain in more detail, but they need you, a high level and strategic Engineering Manager, to come and really drive performance in this area.
This site has plenty of variety to it with multiple parts, so dealing with complexity will need to be something you enjoy. Successfully dealing with this complexity means you will likely have a CI focus and a background in food / drink manufacturing.
