As a Chef, you're never far from your trusty work tools, but before recipes go from pad to pan, you need ideas - you need to see into the future!
Your food creativity is wanted here, right now. We're looking for a Development Chef like you, who knows about critical paths and how to lead customers on a culinary journey, that matches their business vision. Can you develop menus for new start-ups or established household names, that will take your ideas and concepts all over the country with their brands?
You will join a lively, fun, yet serious and professional team of Developers who are working with the UK's hottest foodservice and Quick Service Restaurant brands. You'll be bringing food trends and innovative service styles to life, for a range of food businesses that trust your vision with their investment. Your attention is never far from the next big foodie fashion in fast-food, food-to-go, or high street restaurant chains.
Your current Chef position may not offer the freedom you crave. You know the NPD environment would be restrictive in some areas. The creative opportunities you have in restaurants isn't always possible in a production facility for the mass market... but this job is different. You will bring real inspirational dining concepts to life and really consultant with your clients, ensuring their strategies are realised.
It's more than just cooking up great ideas against a brief... you will debate, demonstrate, present and calculate the plans to truly deliver for the business in question. It will keep you on your toes, and no two days will be the same (promise).
