Job Details
Our client is a leading retailer that has won a number of industry awards. Due to the growth of the business, we are looking to appoint a Technical Manager to join the technical team.
The Technical Manager will be responsible for all aspects of food safety across the category, ensuring suppliers are fully compliant. You will draw on your vast technical knowledge to ensure all products are produced to the highest standards and ensure all ingredients have up to date specifications. This is a key role within the technical team, and the business is able to offer the right candidate excellent training and career prospects.
The successful Technical Manager will possess the following skills & experiences:
- Degree educated in a Food Science or related discipline
- A real foodie with a passion for innovation, and a proven track record of working in retail, foodservice or branded food manufacturing
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence key stakeholders
- A high calibre individual, with an entrepreneurial flair and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
