Development Technologist contract role - 12 months - Shropshire.
Exciting opportunity to join the R&D team for a market leader within the chilled food industry.
The business is recruiting a Development Technologist on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity leave. The successful candidate will support the team to deliver NPD projects from concept to launch. With a start early January 2019, this is an opportunity to join a business that is growing and investing massively in the future.
Responsibilities will include -
- Generating ideas/new concepts
- Supporting flavour and recipe development
- Working to improve current products
- New product costing
- Working with the Operations, Technical and Planning teams to arrange production trials
- Producing nutritional and ingredient information
To be successful you will have New Product Development experience (ideally own label) within the food manufacturing industry. Experience of working in fast-paced environments is essential to hit the ground running and support the team immediately.
