Continuous Improvement Manager / CI Manager (food manufacturing experience)

£45,000 - £55,000

You don't need me to tell you that continuous improvement isn't just a role.

You know it's a culture. A culture that you have to create through engagement, training and mentoring. It can long hours, frustrating days and sometimes leave you wondering why you even bother.

But when that breakthrough moment comes and you deliver, that feeling reminds you that it was actually all worth it.

I could tell you that this role is a walk in the park, where everything always goes to plan. But I'd be lying.

It's a tough, complex site and operates on a day one for day one basis. That's why your experience in food manufacturing is a must.

You'll be heading up CI on site. The canvas (sorry to use a cliché) is not completely blank. Some headway has been made but there is a lot of 'low hanging fruit' (again, sorry) to be had. Once you've finished with the basics, you'll be able to move onto the more complex matters.

Through the day to day (organised) carnage, you'll work closely with the operations team to identify where improvements can be made and deploy strategy to make them happen. Knowing the theory of Lean / CI is one thing but your ability to inspire, motivate and deliver will be the key to you making the maximum impact in your role. They're not one for jargon.

To help you on your way, the business are investing heavily in multiple areas on site and with a constant influx of new business, the investment will continue to flow.

If you're looking for a chance to make a difference, give me (Charlie) a call. 01733 391515.
