Interim Warehouse Manager
We are delighted to be working with a global FMCG brand who are leading the way with their innovative products and approach.
As they continue to grow, our client are looking for a hands on interim Warehouse manager to assist with the set up of a new distribution centre.
This role will involve a significant amount of change as the company are at a cross roads in terms of their supply chain strategy.
Some of the main responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Implement a range of KPIs to ensure excellent service levels
- Inventory Management to ensure effective rotation and storage of stock according to shelf life
- Utilise the relevant tools to ensure effective, productive warehouse operations
- Leverage prior experience to develop and implement best practice
Reporting to the Operations director, this role will be challenging but ultimately rewarding for the right person. The successful candidate will thrive under pressure and be able to adapt and operate in a high pressure fast moving environment. You will be a natural leader, able to inspire and motivate your teams to perform. Possessing a lean mindset, you will ensure that customer service is at the heart of decision making and that day to day operations run in an efficient and cohesive manner.
