The Role

This is an opportunity for a career focused, ambitious and decisive Technical/Quality professional to join a leading businesses in the UK food industry. Working as a Retail Site Compliance Manager you will have responsibilities vital to the smooth and successful running of this national food business.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to key stakeholders
• HACCP ownership
• CCP audit review
• MSC shelf life testing
• Review and action as required lab data from MSC and surveillance testing
• Ensure suppliers of services to sites meet required standards through evaluation and supplier engagement
• Monitor and provide day to day feedback and support on operational food safety and hygiene standards through management meetings
• Provide summary reporting for use in senior management engagement
• Participate in on call duties

Qualifications and Experience

• Food science, (or similar) degree – or equivalent industry experience
• HACCP level 4 qualified
• Internal auditor qualified
• Experienced in factory audits
• Able to read lab results
• Advanced Food hygiene (to be attained within 12 months of role commencement)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and web-based systems
• Able to establish root cause and evaluate implemented corrective actions where necessary
• Holds a full driving licence
