Quality Assurance Auditor - Night Shift

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Auditor to be based in our Manufacturing site in Wembley.
As a Quality Assurance Auditor you will be responsible to ensure product and operational standards are maintained through Good Manufacturing Practice.
Key responsibilities
- Monitoring of procedures & HACCP system on an auditing basis
- To investigate customer complaints and report findings to the QA Manager, when required
- Carrying out hygiene audits and inspections on all operational staff in high and low risk
- To carry out sampling of raw materials & finished products for analysis according to the sampling schedules
- Manage and organise the QC team
- Maintain and audit QC records with the objective of overall high quality and legal compliance
- Ensure completed to a high standard and correct any faults immediately, considering training
- To ensure that the site balances, metal detectors and probe units are calibrated by the QC team
- To carry out daily chiller inspections, recording any non-conformances
This role is a full-time, working 45 hours per week. The shift pattern is Tuesday night to Saturday night and the working hours are from 8pm to 6am.
The ideal candidate
- FMCG or Food manufacturing experience - desirable
- Excellent Communication skills
- Is able to/ desires to find new and better ways of working
- Ability to approach a problem in a clear and logical manner
- Takes ownership and is self-motivated
- A forward-thinker / able to remain calm and focused in changing situations
- Excellent numerate and literate
- Proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills
- Able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
