Job Title: Technical  Manager                          

Reporting to:  General Manager                                        

Job Purpose:

To ensure, by use of the written guidelines within the Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manual, the integrity of the production process, product administration and maintaining high quality and hygiene standards whilst ensuring that the plant and operatives work in a Health and Safety conscious manner. 

Principle Accountabilities:

1.To ensure that the plant consistently produces product to legal and customer specification.

2.To develop yourself as well as others within the plant and to ensure that employee training is kept in line with current requirements/legislation...

3.To ensure that all employees adhere to the company and legislative, hygiene rules, health & safety.

4.To ensure that the equipment, machinery and building are cleaned and disinfected to the required standards and operate in a safe manner.

5.To ensure that all the required audits, checks and documentation, arising from this 

6.To ensure that all required (legal and plant requirements) audits, checks, services etc. are carried out to the required schedule

7.Ensures Product Quality and ultimately Food Safety

Ensure product is produced within hygienic surroundings

8.Provides the information required to make informed choices.

9.Hygiene and HACCP Training.
