Technical Account Manager

Our client is a leading supplier of very fresh and very tasty products to the major UK retailers, and relies on partnerships with a number of European based suppliers for the daily provision of products to the UK consumer. They presently seek a skilled technical professional, who is able to upkeep the high retailer standards across this range of suppliers, and whom is eager to travel throughout Europe in pursuit of this high quality

Technical Account Manager

As a critical part of the technical team, the remit will be to ensure that the range of suppliers, in a number of European countries, each specialising in regional baked delicacies. The role essentially be home based, but a frequent amount of time will be travelling across Europe, visiting our suppliers, as well as taking in some of the scenery.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for ensuring UK retailer standards, and audit standards are adhered to across supplier sites Factory auditing of food safety, hygiene and customer specs Regular liaison with major UK retailers First point of contact for customer technical queries

Critical Attributes

• Very knowledgeable of UK retailer standards, Tesco in particular Qualified or highly experienced in supplier auditing Knowledge of European supply base Very flexible to travel
