The Company:

The Role:

  • To support European manufacturing plants in coordinating Quality Strategy, policies and practices to ensure both factory compliance, and the translation of customer quality requirements into local policy activities
  • To be a liaison point between the Plant quality teams, central quality teams and commercial teams

Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing a working Quality Program in order to deliver products against all food safety and required customer standards.
  • Ensuring compliant and efficient documentation to provide a strong aligned EU Quality Framework
  • Supporting the SQT Lead to align with EU sites in cross functional project work
  • Developing and supporting the Quality Processes and Systems in the SAP Quality Module
  • Lead the team for Quality strategic projects
  • Ensuring a working customer complaint procedure and establish a continuous improvement way of working, facilitating complaints reduction plans across all sites
  • Ensuring regular reporting to relevant stakeholders in order to measure focus improvement areas
  • Supporting a European crisis team, providing a standard approach and way of working.
  • Managing specific incidents, contributing to solutions and evaluation to improve systems, procedures and standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Expertise in quality systems and process technology
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the food industry in Quality role at multi-site level
  • Expertise in various types of management systems specific to the food industry
  • An understanding of customer needs in various countries and channels
  • Excellent problem solving-skills (an ability to see common denominators, see through complexity and bring simplicity to issues)
  • Good project management skills
  • Strong influencing skills in a complex matrix organization
