This role is working for a multi-sited manufacturer which is one of the leading processors within their market sector. They supply high quality products to the UK’s retailers foodservice and manufacturers plus also export products worldwide.
The purpose of the HSE Manager is to create, maintain and improve health, safety and environmental standards throughout the site and be responsible for ensuring that safety and environmental legislation is followed.
You will drive forwards the group strategy through site-based initiatives and control of the site plan plus implement, monitor and review protective and preventative measures, with the fundamental objective being to ensure policies and practices are adopted to minimise operational losses, occupational health problems, accidents and environmental concerns.
To be considered for the HSE Manager job, you will possess a strong health, safety and environmental track record within a manufacturing environment, most preferably food processing. You will be an excellent communicator and motivator, be a logical thinker and be passionate about actively promoting best practice, encouraging factory teams to make and accept change. You will be NEBOSH qualified and a full UK driving licence is essential.
The HSE Manager job is based in Yorkshire region and is paying c. £50,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday.
