We’re now the proud owners of six drinks manufacturing sites within the UK and we’re looking for a Laboratory Coordinator / Laboratory Supervisor to come join our Refresco site in Wrexham (Spectrum Business Park).
You will supervise the laboratory function through effective interpersonal skills, communication, planning and standard setting. You'll ensure of laboratory accreditation standards by ensuring methods and procedures are adhered to and amending methods where appropriate. You'll also host laboratory accreditation assessments in a professional manner.

- You’ll have knowledge and experience of working within an FMCG laboratory environment, preferably a micro laboratory. You'll have excellent knowledge of quality systems and processes. You'll have previous involvement and exposure to audits with external bodies and customers, particularly laboratory accreditation. You'll be an effective communicator and be thoroughly professional at all times, especially dealing with customers.
As our Laboratory Coordinator, we'll pay you a competitive salary, plus site bonus, life assurance, up to 7% matched pension, 25 days holiday + bank holidays.

We focus on providing high customer service levels as well as core innovations through the introduction of new packages, flavours and varieties of soft drinks and fruit juices. In (co-)designing new products, we share extensive knowledge of market trends, local consumer preferences, product formulas, raw materials, and new production technologies.
We are able to develop new concepts and bring these to market in an extremely short time frame.

In January 2018 Refresco announced completion of the acquisition of the bottling activities of Cott Beverages.

In the UK, Refresco Beverages UK has our headquarters in Kegworth, Derbyshire, employs 1800 people across 6 sites (Bridgwater, Kegworth, Nelson, Bondgate, Wrexham & Macduff). We work with all the leading UK retailers including Tesco, ASDA, Morrison's, Sainsbury, ALDI and Lidl to produce their private labels and with branded customers such as Innocent, Ocean Spray, Weetabix, Del Monte and Um Bongo. We have packaging capability in Cartons, PET, Aseptic PET and Cans.
