Shift Operations Manager for a growing Food Manufacturing Business!

We have an opportunity for a Shift Operations Manager within food manufacturing. Reporting into the Site Operations Manager you will be the Direct Report for thirteen Section Leaders and One Lead Engineer, leading the co-ordination and management of shift engineering activities on site.

The company is a stand alone business unit but part of a wider group which has recently invested heavily into the business's infrastructure with plans for further investment.

You will be responsible for leading and coaching individuals and teams to deliver optimum levels of quality, service and cost, engaging them to fully embrace a safety first culture.

You should be able to fight fires and have an analytical approach to problem solving. While being able to react to problems is important, it is essential that you are a change agent with the patience and resilience to work through problems, getting to the root causes.

Extensive experience within food manufacturing is essential with a bakery operations background advantageous. Credibility within engineering is also desired.
