The job

The purpose of the Inventory Control Clerk is to liaise and interface with other departments on a daily basis, challenging their involvement with stock control management including QA, purchasing/supply chain, production and warehouse.

You will carry our systematic processes for rejected stock, carry out internal requests for stock checks and report findings, control stock required for disposal, investigate stock discrepancies (physical checks and system interrogation) plus monitor stock levels of packed/bulk stock in warehouses to ensure consumption within minimum shelf life.

Your experience

To be considered for the Inventory Control Clerk position, you will be extremely organised and have high attention to detail. You will possess previous experience in a stock control supply chain or related inventory management related role and working knowledge of stock control computer systems i.e. Access Supply Chain would be desirable. A forklift truck licence is also preferred.
