The job

As the Quality Systems Officer you will essentially be responsible for maintaining the Quality Management Systems standards through the scheduling and communication of internal audits in order to satisfy internal, external, certification requirements (e.g. BRC, Halal, Kosher, Organic) and all other relevant standards. 

You will complete all documentation in a timely manner whilst challenging standards and systems in order to drive forward continual improvement.  In addition, you will drive the progression of corrective actions and coordinate Root Cause Analysis.

Your experience
 

You will have previous food manufacturing experience which will include the scheduling and completion of audits and both QMS and customer facing experience.  You will also be IT literate, a confident decision maker plus an effective communicator with the ability to build strong relationships.  A degree or equivalent in a relevant subject would be an advantage.
