The purpose of the Hygiene Manager is to lead the cleaning function within the business and monitor, maintain and oversee the hygiene and cleaning of all areas.
You will ensure the delivery of cleaning to meet the agreed standards/ site specifications, train and motivate staff to achieve the required standards of performance, work closely with the Quality department by ensuring housekeeping is correctly implemented, ensure all cleaning equipment and chemicals are kept secured, well maintained and well stocked, ensure site is audit ready, work closely with site management to improve standards throughout plus manage waste, hygiene and pest control services.
We are seeking a highly organised and positive individual with a solid track record of working in a hygiene capacity within the food manufacturing industry. You will possess 2 years senior hygiene / team leading experience, have good knowledge of BRC requirements and a background of working with chilled or frozen food products is essential. You will lead by example with a can-do attitude and aspire to bring the company forwards.
The Hygiene Manager job is based in the London region and is paying £28,000 - £30,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday.
