Opportunity to join a successful branded food business leading the NPD function at site.

As NPD Manager, you'll be responsible for all product development activities at site from concept to launch. The site produces branded and own label products supplied into all major retailers and leading food service brands.

Here you'll be managing a team of three and report into the group Head of Innovation (who is based off site). You'll be a key part of the senior leadership team with a dotted line to the factory General Manager. It's a period of significant change at this site and there's a lot of work to do in terms of process improvement projects and upskilling operational teams. As such, you and your team will need to spend a lot of time on the shop floor, forging strong relationships, coaching and supporting.

You will be working at a well invested site that is well supported by the parent company and the focus is very much on developing the (already successful) brand further. You'll be joining a close-knit NPD and Technical team that is full of talented individuals who are passionate about great food. We are looking for someone who is abreast of the latest trends and develops inspiring new products yet can also get stuck into cost improvement projects and be present on the factory floor.
