We're one of the world's biggest dairy producers. Join us as a Cheese Grader based in house at our Logistic Provider in Shropshire and grade cheese loved by millions.
About the job
You will optimise cheese stock availability via timely and accurate grading of the available cheese stocks. The role will be based in Whitchurch, Shropshire but will involve travel to various sites in the UK, therefore it is essential you are mobile and hold a clean driving license.
Some of the daily responsibilities will include;
* Create weekly grading plans through the utilisation of SAP
* Carry out weekly grading KPI reports to link back to production
* Highlight and manage RISK stock
* Liaise closely with planning, production and site QEHS team
* Despatch graded cheese from store to other sites in the UK/ 3rd party customers
* Carry out customer benchmarking
* Work closely with cheese stock controllers to ensure a cost efficient and stable cheese stock control process with an emphasis on Q-Cost and quality
* Ensure a safe, clean working environment at all times.

Who are you?
You will have a strong production and cheese grading background. The is a customer facing role so outstanding communication skills and the ability to engage at all levels and support the Arla product portfolio is essential. This role will be responsible for delivering results that make a significant contribution to the business so you must be confident working under pressure and have the ability to make sound commercial decisions. Strong IT skills (including SAP) and a good understanding of health and safety/food hygiene principles is also essential for this role.
