Assistant Hygiene Manager

Having a passion for hygiene isn't something that you aspire to have when your at school thinking about your career, but somehow it has happened...without you even realising.

You have made a difference within your current company, you have been able to drop a task and address another matter at a drop of a hat, you have left a lasting impression on the people around you. This isn't something that comes with extra training and experience, you either have it or don't. But you do... so we continue.

Absences and performance management is just something else that you have taken your hand to, and learnt from. Everyday is a school day but you are confident in having those 'difficult conversations' from time to time.

As you have come from a food background you will have a strong understanding of GMP standards, COSHH, HACCP and audit requirements. You will be working closely with the Hygiene Manager who will support you with obtaining further strings to your bow but it is a fantastic opportunity for an existing Hygiene Team Leader/Supervisor to step up.
