Are you a self-motivated and energetic engineer? Are you an experienced engineer looking for the opportunity to work normal office hours Monday - Friday?

If so this role is for you. My client is well known in the food manufacturing industry. They produce a range of high quality products to the food service sector. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering department.

As a maintenance engineer your main responsibilities will be to ensure all plant equipment is kept running by carrying out reactive and planned maintenance. You will have to keep accurate record of all task and carry out risk assessments.

A successful candidate will have experience within a FMCG or food manufacturing environment and hold an engineering qualification in either mechanical or electrical such as HNC, City and Guild's, or a time served apprenticeship.

Experience of working with control panel, wiring and fault finding is essential. A good working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and welding would be beneficial. Any experience with boiler, steam or refridgation is also highly regarded.
