High quality goods, great customers and motivated team - all they need now is a skilled and experienced demand planner to help create both short and long term forecasts to ensure continued success and results consistently.

The Materials Planner will:
*Calculate material requirements as outlined in forecasts.
*Work closely with suppliers to ensure stocks are maintained and wastage in minimal.
*Maintain records or orders, deliveries and prices.
*Take active role in general problem solving and project work. Always be generating new ideas to help improve the operation.

You will have experience in the food, drinks or packaging industry and in a relevant role such as a Materials planner, production planner, materials controller, or similar supply chain focussed role.

It will also be advantageous, but not essential, to have experience working with major UK retailers and with MRP/ERP systems and a strong working knowledge of Excel. You will also need to have a confident but calm approach to tasks and bring a positive energy to the workplace.

This role will be commutable from places with Somerset such as Bridgwater, Yeovil and Taunton.
