Quality Controller | £20,700

We are proud to be working with the UK's leading fresh produce provider as they continue to experience business growth. They trade out of multiple locations in the UK, including Maidstone, as well as other locations such as Europe, India and North America. They are involved in the growing, sourcing, importing, packaging, marketing and distributing over 300 lines of fresh produce, supplying into the retail, wholesale and food service sectors.

The Job:

We are looking for a Quality Controller to support our fresh produce client's Quality team across all aspects of technical, quality and operational activities. You'll be key in ensuring that customer specifications/requirements are constantly met by proving an effective and well organised quality control service. Your main job will be to ensure that all products are inspected and assessed. You'll also ensure that intake reports are completed accurately, manage non-compliance procedures and investigate any returns.

You:

You'll have technical understanding and experience of working in the fresh produce industry, ideally in soft or stone fruit. You'll have strong IT skills, communication skills and be able to work to deadlines. It is essential that you have a full driving licence as there will be off site travel for QA inspections.
