The job

The purpose of the Logistics Administrator is to support the Logistics Manager in managing an effective storage and distribution function whilst delivering excellence in safety, service, cost and control.

You will coordinate 3PL and 4PL across warehouse and distribution, oversee stock counting ensuring it is fully auditable and recorded, contribute to continuous improvement logistics projects, maintain high customer service levels through communications and issue resolution, administration duties such as supplier invoicing and customer returns processing plus ensure adherence to quality systems and procedures.

Your experience

We are seeking a methodical, organised and flexible individual who has some logistics or related supply chain/despatch experience, most ideally from within FMCG/food manufacturing. You will be numerical, accurate, have good IT skills plus have the ability to communicate on all levels. Fluency in an additional European language (Dutch, German, French) is also required.

The Logistics Administrator job is based in the Home Counties / East Midlands region and is paying up to £25,000 pro rata. The working hours are Monday to Friday.

This role is a fixed term contract with a duration of 6-9 months.
