Planning Manager - FMCG - Food Manufacturing.

This company is manufacturing a range of ready meals for major retailers. They are looking for a Planning Manager to join the business and manage a team of Production Planners in a fast-paced environment. Focus will be on production capacity planning, liaising with the sales teams to ensure efficient manufacturing plans are given to the production teams, along with forecasting customer demand and planning all raw material requirements.

Strong communication and leadership skills are required to engage and motivate your team and collaborate with other areas of the business, customers and vendors.

Areas of responsibility will include:
  • Demand and capacity planning
  • Managing raw material requirements
  • Scheduling production processes
  • Increase forecast accuracy using variance reports
  • Manage 3rd party logistics


This would be an excellent opportunity for an existing Planning Manager wanting to join a growing company or a Planner looking for a step up into a larger role.

Experience within an FMCG environment is essential with a Food Manufacturing background desirable. You will have worked within large scale manufacturing and be comfortable in this environment.
