We're one of the world's biggest dairy producers. Join us as a Transport Assistant at our Head Office in Stourton, Leeds.
About the job
This is a key role where the individual must co-ordinate and action core data duties within a logistics central administration department.
Some of the key responsibilities that come with this role are:
- Providing data support for the logistic departments and sites
- Reconciles data for payments
- Manage invoicing for inbound and outbound logistics customers
- Collate and challenge costs
- Identify and drive cost savings
- Running daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Commissioning vehicles to manage the auto sampling process
- Any other additional duties in line with the role

Who are you?
We are looking for an individual who has the ability to understand and take control of site administration whilst having a proactive approach and the ability to act on their own initiative, looking for ways of improving and streamlining processes. You must have excellent communication skills with the confidence to challenge where necessary. You will be highly organised and be able to multitask, prioritise and adapt to changes in the business. High standard of accuracy and attention to detail are also essential as is the ability to deal with sensitive/confidential information. Excellent numeracy skills and strong Microsoft office skills with advanced Excel skills are also key for this role.
The role involves working within a team but you will also be confident working on an individual basis. A background in the financial sector would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given. Where there is business need there will be occasional travel to Arla sites within the UK.
