Job Details
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead the manufacturing team whilst ensuring production targets are met on time and at budget or better whilst ensuring GMP and Quality requirements are adhered to.
Key tasks To plan production schedule in accordance with daily, weekly, monthly requirements are met
To balance the workforce such that production needs are met.
To prepare and authorise batch processing records.
To ensure through effective sourcing, purchasing and stock control production requirements are met at optimum cost.
To make certain that the Manufacturing department meets all Quality standards of the company.
To select, train and guide team members to ensure individual and team performance is maximised.
To promote a health work environment thereby ensuring Health and Safety requirements are met.
To write and approve standard operating procedures
To raise change controls and deviations where required.
To organise the repair and routine maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
To participate in internal investigations as required and to host audits as needed displaying excellent customer service skills.
Person Requirements
The successful candidate will have considerable experience in the manufacturing of solid dose pharmaceuticals and a full understanding of industry GMP standards.
