This is a rare opportunity for a driven process technologist to join a fast moving, innovative and successful business producing one of the most popular brands in the UK.

Company

Based in a purpose built factory, our client has an established facility processing chilled high quality premium products for the major UK retailers. They are part of large manufacturing group and they are positively accredited, highly organised and well regarded.

Key Accountabilities

This role will be working in partnership with the Technical and NPD teams to ensure that product launches run smoothly according to timelines and the highest standards. Taking the lead on certain projects, you will cover all aspects of the launch process, including recipe development, process paperwork, systems, packaging and quality.

You will constantly be looking at ways to improve and communicating these to the management team to identify cost savings and improvements that will benefit the profitability and efficiency of the business.

Personal Profile

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally chilled
  • Food related degree or qualifications
  • Able to work individually and as a team to strict deadlines
  • Good communication skills for dealing with suppliers and customers
