Description

The Operations Director will be responsible for all manufacturing and supply chain on site. You will participate as part of the site leadership team devising production strategy that ensures the highest quality of product delivered on time and to customer specification. You will lead planning with sales to meet demand and ensure manufacturing is carried out with the highest level of efficiency maximising business margin. You will lead improvement initiatives engaging staff at all levels. Being an excellent people manager you will coach and develop the team, providing the maximum level of motivation to perform at the highest level.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership of a FMCG organisation. You will have held P&L responsibility and reported to group board level. You will ideally have formal training in lean manufacturing and excellent leadership qualities.
