My client based in Buckinghamshire is looking for a new Technical Assistant to join their growing company.

Main responsibilites include; 

• Carrying out raw material, packaging and finished product sampling, analysis, certification and obtaining approvals
• Inspecting and reporting on quality of all raw materials received in keeping with guidelines given, reporting any non-conformances.
• Monitoring and managing the supplier approval and performance monitoring system
• Updating specifications as and when required
• Ensuring the sampling regime for analysis and challenge testing is adhered to
• Carrying out Audits on the Quality Management System
• Contributing to HACCP analysis and BRC accreditation process

The successful candidate must have;

• 2 years’ experience working in the UK Food Industry
• Internal auditing experience
• Raw Material testing experience
• Knowledge of specification systems
• Dealt with customer complaints
