The job

The role of a Hygiene Supervisor is to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of high standards of hygiene across the site.

You will support the Hygiene Managers with the management and achievement of KPI’s, take responsibility for product quality and safety and intervene as appropriate to minimise the risk of customer complaints, support the Hygiene Manager in the implementation and improvement of procedures, ensure the safe use of chemicals at all times, manage, train and develop Team Leaders and their teams to ensure optimum effectiveness and efficiency and identify and address any skills gaps and support in creating a positive Health and Safety culture.

Your experience

To be considered for the Hygiene Supervisor job, you will possess previous hygiene management experience from within food manufacturing, most preferably chilled, prepared products. You will possess a good working knowledge of HACCP, Health & Safety management and quality systems plus be IT literate including MS Office.

The Hygiene Supervisor job is based in the East Midlands region and is paying £28,000. This is a night shift role working Tuesday to Saturday, 10pm – 6am.
