Site Manager
About the role:
Based within the largest industrial estate in Europe, our Deeside site (which is a stone's throw from Chester) produces over 2.5 million packs of sliced cooked meats every week.
We're recruiting for a Site Manager to head up this 190,000 square foot building, with a team of over 900 colleagues. At this site we produce ready to eat chicken, sliced meat for our deli counter and 130 million packs of ham each year. Operating 24/7, our 20 high-speed lines produce 450 - 500 tonnes of product per week! Each day nine vehicles set off to our distribution centres with approximately 50,000 cases of Cooked Meats to service our customers.
As Site Manager you would have full accountability for the Manufacturing, Engineering, Hygiene, Health, Safety and Environment, People team and Distribution teams and you'd would report directly into the Head of Chilled.
About you:
As well as being ambitious and driven, you must have experience at Site Director/Manager or equivalent within a Food Manufacturing environment. Ideally with experience of managing high risk areas. Large scale site leadership is essential. We're looking for someone with an entrepreneurial approach, someone who has a passion for talent and leading with purpose.
