Supply Chain Team Leader

My client is a well-known food business and they are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Team Leader to join their team in Buckinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an FMCG professional to further develop their career in the food industry with an excellent employer.

The Role:

• Oversee and lead the Scheduling & Logistics team, this includes Production Scheduling, Inventory Management and Materials Purchasing Planning
• Produce a time-phased factory schedule based on the five week plans form the Plant Planner
• Report relevant KPIs for the Plant Supply Chain Management
• Ensure reviews of run-rates are carried out quarterly with Operations Management  
• Monitor all the SAP systems data and keep it up to date

The Candidate:

• Proven leader who has professional experience leading within the Food Manufacturing Industry
• Operations or Supply Chain background, working in fast-paced environments
• A customer-focused individual who has a track record of achieving results
• Has the ability to adapt to change and make decisions whilst under pressure
• Strong IT skills and experienced using SAP & APO
