Our client, a leading and award winning player in branded food is looking for a Commercial Controller to head up the sales and marketing function. Reporting directly in to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the development of retail national accounts and food service customers through development of the product range, NPD, promotional and pricing strategies. You will assume full P&L accountability and working with in-house marketing / product development and procurement teams to maximise sales opportunities.
This role within the business requires a commercially astute, driven and focused individual who has an understanding of supplying food to the multiple grocers and ideally with some food service experience. Due to the team you will be managing, a successful track record of national account management of a high street multiple account is essential, although the type of product is less critical. You will be driven, commercially astute with excellent interpersonal and management skills who can easily communicate and negotiate at all levels with internal and external customers.
