Euro Food Brands Ltd work in partnership with premium food producers across the world, and with retailers large & small, to bring the finest food brands to the UK & Ireland.

We are currently looking for a Technical Administrator to join our Technical Department. Reporting into the Quality Systems Manager, the Technical Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality systems to ensure customers’ and suppliers’ needs are met.

The duties of the role will include but are not limited to:

  • Internal auditing of our BRC accredited systems for Agents & Brokers and Storage & Distribution at the Head Office and Warehouse locations and assisting at Second and Third Party Audits of the Company.
  • Raising and investigation of non-conformances
  • Maintaining supplier and product approvals
  • Completing product checks – quality, safety, nutritional, labelling etc
  • Completing retailer online specifications for new/amended products. Experience in using the systems is essential.
  • Answering retailer queries through their online systems (improvement plans, technical updates etc.)
  • Ensuring suppliers are kept up to date with retailer requirements.
  • Logging, investigating and closing customer/consumer complaints.
  • Liaising with customer and suppliers to ensure swift resolution of issues.
  • Trending complaints to establish any patterns and working with site management to resolve with our suppliers.
  • Management of complaints through our online database.
  • Filing of quality system records.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a quality/technical role within the food industry and of customer complaint resolution. They should have knowledge of GFSI management systems such as BRC/IFS and have experience of working with multiple retailers and their systems.

Degree level education and/or qualifications in HACCP and food safety would be desirable, as would internal/external auditing experience/qualifications. Knowledge of BRC Agents & Brokers and Storage & Distribution standards would also be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, have excellent organisation and time management skills as well as the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication skills are essential.
