Our DFI Crewe Technical team are the guardians of our Food Safety and Quality Management System, ensuring that the system is robust, compliant and followed by all departments. To manage this agenda we have created a new position of Technical Services Co-ordinator. This key role will be responsible for managing the quality management system and will be the owner of all Technical reporting. They will also oversee key activities such as complaint handling, HACCP and finished product specifications. This role will report into the Crewe Technical Manager, with responsibility for the Specifications Technologist and Quality Systems Technician. 

Key Duties will include:

• Maintaining the Food Safety and Quality Management System to BRC and customer standards
• Conducting GAP analysis and required updates for legislative or standard changes
• Managing HACCP, TACCP & VACCP documentation within the QMS
• Maintaining internal audit schedule and close out of internal and external non-conformances
• Creating and maintaining the traceability schedule ensuring full adherence and documentation
• Co-ordinating documentation and review of site risk assessments
• Overseeing complaint responses and reviewing as required
• Supporting specifications activity as required for finished goods
• Maintaining customer KPI systems, ensuring completion on time and in full
• Being the custodian of all Technical data, generating daily/weekly/monthly reports
• Analysing and utilising data to identify, communicate and action trends
• Ensuring technical training matrix is compliant with legislation, BRC & customer requirements

Who are we looking for?

You will have demonstrable experience or qualifications within the food industry supported by significant experience of food manufacturing processes. Experience within dairy and an understanding of cheese manufacture and composition would be advantageous although not essential. Extensive experience within FSQMS including HACCP, internal audits and complaint handling is essential to manage and co-ordinate these key processes.

With exceptional communication skills and attention to detail you will have experience within a customer facing role from which you will managing customer expectations. You will enjoy collating, analysing, trending and communicating data. With strong organisation and co-ordination skills, you will ensure adherence to schedules and close out of actions. Proactive and results focussed, you will be able to develop good relationships internally and externally to deliver our 1st class product.
