Quality Auditor / Quality Technologist (Nights)
A leading food manufacturer based in the South East are seeking a QA to join their growing team. You should be an experienced Quality Auditor with a background of working within a fast paced food manufacturing environment.
Role: Quality Auditor
Salary: Circa £22-25k (relocation package if applicable)
Location: Sussex

The Role:
- Ensuring that all steps of the manufacturing process are audited against industry guidelines.
- Monitoring and auditing critical control points, and conducting trend analysis of site information using such data to target improvements.
- Involved in taste panels and responsibility for collecting samples when required.
- Understanding and applying the business Quality Standards ensuring that company, customer and legislative requirements are met and maintained by setting standards and monitoring good manufacturing practices, applying HACCP principles and preventing reoccurrence of non-conformance against these standards.
- Supporting the factory teams by providing technical support and advice, seeking guidance from senior managers on technical issues.
- Supporting NPD trials and product launches, managing micro testing and product life assessment to ensure product is manufactured to correct standards.
- Coordinating day to day activities to deliver improvements of Technical KPIs.
- Operating in a safe working manner and supporting the site and business with continuous improvement relating to health, safety and environment.
You:
As an ideal candidate for this role you should be an experienced Quality Auditor / Technologist with an understanding of HACCP and experience of working to BRC Audits. You should have a proven track record of communicating with both internal and external contacts at all levels. Furthermore, you should be a strong communicator across all levels of a business, and you should be able to work in an accurate and precise manner.
